Destination Gettysburg recently asked Spencer to help with a new website to enhance both member and visitor experience. Requirements? A powerful Content Management System (CMS) and a custom Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for their 300+ members. Spencer’s extensive CVB knowledge and custom-built CMS, Destinare, proved to be a perfect match.
We built a fully responsive website that serves not only as an online selling tool, but allows partners and members to self-manage their properties’ web pages. Members manage their information, events, coupons, packages, Flickr feeds and social media links. This benefit creates huge staff efficiencies for Destination Gettysburg.
Destination Gettysburg also benefited from Spencer’s membership directory management tool, which allows them to help track, maintain and organize leads to distribute to members through an easy download from the website. This CRM system gives CVBs the ability to create company contacts, add notes and relationships to those contacts, and manage, download and export contact lists.
Since the launch, organic search traffic has risen 87% compared to last year. Staff members are enjoying the site’s ease of use when modifying site content, images and videos, and partners have raved about the additional site exposure they have received from their unique member pages driving traffic to their locations.
