AUSA – Stop & Shop & Giant Triple Winner Game
For over 25 years, AUSA’s Giant Food and Stop & Shop have raised $68 million dollars for research and treatment of pediatric cancers through their Triple Winner game, one of the most successful cause-marketing fundraising games in the US.
AUSA approached Spencer to help promote Triple Winner to gain additional participation through a regional broadcast campaign featuring chosen cancer survivors who wanted to help others by sharing their stories on camera.
Spencer conducted phone interviews with each person to get to know them and to help shape their amazing stories. Then we hit the road. In one week we shot four interviews in Boston, New York and Baltimore, traveling together in an RV, and completed rough cuts on a laptop in between cities. Thanks to these remarkable stories, the powerful messages came through beautifully, and the Triple Winner tickets sold out in five days, the shortest time in the game’s history.
